The story behind the movement

The Story of My Re(!Leaf

A movement of healing, culture, and Creator.

Our Story Begins With Truth

Before My Re(!Leaf existed, there was a question we could no longer ignore:

What is the real wound our people are carrying?

The answer was clear and painful: Colonisation.

Not just as history — but as a living impact felt in our families, our identity, our spirit, and our communities. Disconnection, removals, missions, shame, punishment, loss of culture, loss of language, loss of spiritual safety — these became the roots of the hurt many Aboriginal people still carry today.

My Re(!Leaf was born from naming this truth honestly, and from the desire to heal it.

A Spiritual Sign: 222

In the middle of this work, a number began appearing again and again:

222.

On clocks. On receipts. On number plates. In quiet moments. In busy moments. In moments of reflection.

It wasn't random. It was alignment.

This number led directly to Revelation 22:2, a scripture that speaks of the Tree of Life and the leaves that bring healing to the nations.

That verse opened a doorway. It connected culture, Creator, and healing in a way that could not be ignored.

The Tree of Life Meets the Red Dust Healing Tree

When we read Revelation 22:2, something powerful happened:

"The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations."

Those words mirrored the very tool many of our mob already use — the Red Dust Healing tree, a cultural map that helps people understand their story, their pain, and their strengths.

Two trees. Two worlds. One message: Healing.

The Tree of Life in scripture and the cultural healing tree used by our people were speaking the same language — identity, truth, restoration.

This was the moment My Re(!Leaf took shape.

The Name Was Given, Not Invented

As the revelation unfolded, one word stood out: Leaf.

Then the layers appeared:

  • Re-leaf — healing
  • Relief — release
  • Leaf — the tool of healing
  • Re(!) — renewal, restoration, reconnection

And thanks to Uncle Tom Powell of Red Dust Healing the name arrived: My Re(!Leaf.

A name carrying culture, scripture, identity, and healing all at once. A name that honours the leaves of the tree — the tools that help our people heal. A name that speaks to the journey of returning to Creator, returning to culture, and returning to self.

What My Re(!Leaf Is Trying to Do

My Re(!Leaf is more than a program. It is a healing movement.

It exists to:

  • heal the impacts of colonisation
  • restore cultural identity
  • reconnect people to Creator
  • rebuild spiritual safety
  • strengthen community
  • honour Aboriginal ways of knowing
  • reclaim stories that were taken
  • empower mob to see themselves clearly again

My Re(!Leaf helps people understand:

"Your connection to Creator didn't start with colonisation. It didn't start with missions. It didn't start with the Bible. It started with your ancestors, your culture, your Country, your spirit."

This is healing. This is reclamation. This is relief — Re(!Leaf.

A Movement Rooted in Revelation and Culture

Revelation 22:2 says:

"The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations."

For us, this means:

  • the nations are Aboriginal nations and All nations.
  • the tree is identity, culture, and Creator
  • the leaves are the tools we use to heal
  • the river is the flow of spirit through our people

My Re(!Leaf is the meeting place of culture and scripture — not through colonisation, but through revelation, sovereignty, and truth.

It is a return to Source.

A Calling, Not a Concept

My Re(!Leaf wasn't created in a workshop. It wasn't brainstormed in a meeting. It wasn't built from theory.

It was given. It was revealed. It was placed in spirit.

It is a calling to heal our people, all people, to restore what colonisation tried to break, and to reconnect mob to Creator in a way that honours culture, identity, and truth.

My Re(!Leaf Story

“Create a Dreaming for your Family and Songlines for your next Generations”

With Guidance from my Atmosphere (Belief System), my journey led me to work for Noongar Mia Mia as a Homelessness Case Worker, at that same moment, my Uncle Tom asked if I could train Red Dust Healing in WA for him. After 4 years of working in this industry, I was shown a bigger picture of life through thought, vision and dreams.

Just like a Cloud I found myself Absorbing my Environment collecting information like Water, Absorbing Red Dust Healing, Absorbing Reality for some of my Aboriginal People. Relating, Understanding and Empathising… Then My Cloud got Full… I Rained the Information onto my Tree my Choices and My Re(!Leaf was the Fruit it Produced.
