1. Our commitment

My Re(!Leaf respects your privacy and the sensitivity of what people share in healing work. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and with cultural respect for the stories, identity and lived experience you trust us with.

2. What we collect

• Contact details you give us: name, email address, phone number and organisation.
• Enquiry details: the program you are interested in and the message you send us.
• Program information: attendance, consent forms, and any notes needed to deliver the program safely.
• App information: account details and subscription status if you use the My Re(!Leaf app.
• Technical information: basic website analytics such as pages visited and device type.

3. Sensitive information

Some information shared in programs is sensitive — including cultural identity, health and wellbeing, and personal history. We only collect sensitive information where you choose to share it or where it is needed to keep you safe, and we only use it for the purpose it was given.

4. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and arrange programs, sessions or ceremonies.
• To deliver the service safely and appropriately for you or your group.
• To send invoices and manage bookings.
• To operate and improve the My Re(!Leaf app.
• To send updates about My Re(!Leaf only where you have asked to receive them.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with: facilitators or Cultural Navigators working on your program; the organisation that referred or funded your participation, where you have agreed to this; our service providers who host our website, database and email; and where we are required or permitted by law, or where there is a serious risk to someone's life, health or safety.

6. Storage and security

Enquiries submitted on this website are stored in our secure cloud database and emailed to My Re(!Leaf. Access is restricted. Our providers may store data on servers located in Australia or overseas; we take reasonable steps to ensure they protect your information to a comparable standard.

7. Children and young people

We work with participants from 15 years of age. Where a participant is under 18, we collect consent from a parent, carer or the referring organisation, and we only collect the information needed to support that young person.

8. Cookies and analytics

This website uses only essential functionality and basic, non-invasive analytics to understand how the site is used. We do not use advertising trackers or sell data to advertisers. You can block cookies in your browser without losing access to the site.

9. Access, correction and deletion

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email joshua.moody89@outlook.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.

10. Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your information, contact us first and we will work with you to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page.
